"The Seeds This Soil Holds" combines poetry and a series of diptychs containing images of black queer joy and resistance. All images were unearthed from the John J. Wilcox Archives at The William Way Center in Philadelphia. The project is a sifting of the self and an homage to ancestors -- an offering to the shoulders upon which we all stand.
